I have been an educator for 20 years, and 2026-2027 will be my tenth year in Gulf Shores. I will be an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Gulf Shores Middle this year and am excited about working as an administrator surrounded by such a wonderful faculty and staff.

I currently live in Gulf Shores with my wife Amanda, son Alex, and daughter Izzy and two dogs- Gerty and Georgie. I enjoy boating, gardening, exercise, traveling, cooking, game nights and family time whenever I get the chance. My wife also works in the Gulf Shores City School System at the high school where she has many roles. With two kids also in the school system, my family is thoroughly intertwined with the Gulf Shores community, and we can't wait to be a part of the amazing things to come.

My career started where I grew up, in Tuscaloosa, but in 2012 my family and I moved to the coast. After a few years at Fairhope Middle School, where I also graduated with honors from the University of South Alabama’s Education Leadership program, I found my home in what would soon become Gulf Shores City Schools, serving as an English teacher/part-time Admin at GSHS until the 2022-2023 school year. That year, I became an Assistant Principal at GSMS. With the construction of the beautiful new Gulf Shores High School, GSMS also gets an upgrade by moving into the old high school building. I proud to be a Dolphin and am excited to see what the future holds as we strive for excellence and to become one of the best middle schools in the country.
