At Gulf Shores Middle School, we deeply value consistent attendance as a key factor in student success — both in and out of the classroom.

Research shows that chronic absenteeism by sixth grade is one of the strongest predictors of a student potentially dropping out of high school. That’s why we work hard to keep our students engaged, involved, and motivated to be here every day.
