GEMS Team (Girls in Engineering Mathematics and Science)

Team Description
GEMS stands for Girls in Engineering Mathematics and Science. This team develops a project that requires research, testing, and data analysis. Students attend a regional GEMS conference to communicate the conclusions of their project to peers and scientists across the region. Additionally, the conference offers workshops for students to engage in science, engineering, and mathematics as well as meet leading female scientists working in our region. The aim of the team is to inspire more girls to increase their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related careers.
