National Junior Honor Society
Club Description:
Leadership. Scholarship. Service. Citizenship. Character. NJHS is looking for members who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of these characteristics, along with academic excellence!
Seventh and Eighth grade students that have been enrolled for at least one semester at Gulf Shores Middle School are considered for membership. Cumulative grade point average for National Junior Honor Society excludes sixth grade, but includes all grades earned in seventh and first semester of eighth grade. The student must exemplify the qualities of service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The induction ceremony will be conducted in the spring of 8th Grade year.
If you meet these requirements, you’re eligible to be a part of an elite group of students at their school. As a member of the NJHS, you will associate and attend meetings with your school’s best and brightest students (NJHS is a great way to meet people!), while also serving your community.
